MGH History

Massachusetts General Hospital was founded in 1811, with a mandate to serve the underserved population of Boston. It was the first teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School and both education and service have remained at the core of this place. Throughout our interview day, the tour and several presentations will highlight some of the historical milestones in medicine that have occurred here.
